** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** An Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability in RPCRouterServlet of Apache SOAP allows an attacker to read arbitrary files over HTTP. In Apache Airflow 2.3.0 through 2.3.4, there was an open redirect in the webserver's `/confirm` endpoint. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache InLong 1.3.0 or newer. In versions of Apache InLong prior to 1.3.0, an attacker with sufficient privileges to specify MySQL JDBC connection URL parameters and to write arbitrary data to the MySQL database, could cause this data to be deserialized by Apache InLong, potentially leading to Remote Code Execution on the Apache InLong server. In Apache Airflow, prior to version 2.4.1, deactivating a user wouldn't prevent an already authenticated user from being able to continue using the UI or API. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Commons Text 1.10.0, which disables the problematic interpolators by default. These lookups are: - "script" - execute expressions using the JVM script execution engine (javax.script) - "dns" - resolve dns records - "url" - load values from urls, including from remote servers Applications using the interpolation defaults in the affected versions may be vulnerable to remote code execution or unintentional contact with remote servers if untrusted configuration values are used. Starting with version 1.5 and continuing through 1.9, the set of default Lookup instances included interpolators that could result in arbitrary code execution or contact with remote servers.
The standard format for interpolation is "$", where "prefix" is used to locate an instance of .lookup.StringLookup that performs the interpolation. Apache Commons Text performs variable interpolation, allowing properties to be dynamically evaluated and expanded.
